Digital Gift Cards

Digital gift vouchers purchased on gifts.jwlees.co.uk are valid for redemption in the JW Lees Managed Pubs, Inns and Hotels listed above.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed from JW Lees Pub Partners who rent pubs from us.
The gift voucher is not for resale and cannot be exchanged for cash.
We are not responsible for lost cards, balances cannot be replaced or topped up.
Valid on food, drinks and accommodation any remaining balance will not be refunded.
The company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Not valid in conjunction with JW Lees Privilege cards for team members.

• For food and drinks, please ensure voucher is shown to team member upon arrival and at time of payment. If you do not have the voucher with you, then you will be charged the full selling price and will not be allowed to send us the voucher after your visit

Reservations Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

Rates

All published rates include VAT at the current rate. The Hotel reserves the right to alter any errors in advertised and confirmed prices and will do so as soon as we become aware of an error. We will notify you of any price discrepancies relating to your reservation should they arise.
Accommodation rates are per room per night with meal plans as indicated.

Availability

All rooms and rates are offered subject to availability and the discretion of the General Manager.
Limited numbers of rooms may be allocated to individual rates, packages and offers and, when these allocations are taken up, remaining available rooms may be offered at a higher rate.

Making a reservation

Bookings

By making a room reservation you are confirming that you are authorised to do so on behalf of all persons named on the booking. You acknowledge that all members of the party agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Deposits

We reserve the right to guarantee a booking by a major credit/debit card.
You will be informed of which method of guarantee is applicable to your reservation on making the booking.
Deposits may be payable per room on reservations of two nights or more as follows:
Value of reservation: a) £0 - 500 b) £501 - £1000 c) £1001+
Value of deposit: a) £50 b) £100 c) £200

For reservations of one night, credit/debit card details will be required. No money will actually be taken, although the Hotel reserves the right to verify your card at the time of booking, to the value of the reservation plus £20 (pre-authorisation).
At the discretion of the Hotel, or for some packages and special offers, full prepayment may be required, which will be non-refundable and non-transferable

Arrival and Departure

Check in from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and check out by 11.00am on the morning of departure (charges will apply for late checkouts). If you anticipate arriving earlier we will do our utmost to accommodate you. However, you will appreciate that during busy periods, access before 3pm cannot be guaranteed and there may be occasions when guests can check-in and use the facilities, but the bedroom is still being prepared.

Amendments

Please notify us of any amendments to your reservation by telephone or in writing as soon as possible. Amendments are subject to availability and those made within the cancellation period may be subject to charges.

Cancellations and non-arrivals

In order to avoid cancellation charges, please observe our cancellation policy, which is upto 24 hours prior to arrival

In the event of a non arrival or cancellation not within our cancellation policy, the deposit paid is non-refundable and the agreed rate of the first night’s stay will be charged. Normal terms of payment apply to these charges. For this purpose the Hotel reserves the right to set-off the amount payable for such cancellation against the guest’s credit/debit card without prior notice or approval of the guest, where applicable. Advance purchase rates are not refundable and are non-transferable.

We may also cancel your reservation if an event outside of our control,(including, but not limited to, industrial action, explosion, fire, flooding and failure of power and/or water supplies or emergency evacuation),means that we are unable to make your room available to you. In this case we will contact you to let you know as soon as possible and
a) If you have already paid we will refund the payment to you
b) If you have not yet paid you will not have to make any payment to us.

Statutory requirements

The Hotel is subject to statutory controls, including those related to fire, licensing, entertainment, health, hygiene and safety. These must be strictly observed by guests.

Payment

We accept most major credit and debit cards and cash. Settlement of your bill in full, less any deposit, must be made prior to departure from the Hotel. Upon arrival the Hotel reserves the right to request pre-authorisation of the guest’s credit/debit card.

Accounts may only be forwarded for payment on completion by the guest and acceptance by the Hotel of an application for credit facilities, which may be withdrawn at any time. Credit facilities are not offered to private individuals.

Smoking

We are required to advise all guests that it is not allowed to smoke in any part of the hotel. We do levy a charge of £200.00 to cover the deep cleaning required in the unlikely event that one of our guests chooses to ignore the Hotel’s No Smoking Policy. In this instance, the Hotel reserves the right to set-off the amount payable for such charges against the guest’s credit/debit card without prior notice or approval of the guest, where applicable.

Room Compliance

Guests are not permitted to use any fire risk equipment in their rooms such as toasters and minicookers or anything which may unnecessarily set off the fire alarms causing disturbance to other guests.

Tampering with fire alarms, extinguishers or other emergency equipment may result in a fine or dismissal from the Hotel.

Additional requests

All special and additional requests are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee the provision for special requests. Any additional requests made should be prior to arrival at the Hotel, giving reasonable advance notice.

Medical conditions and dietary requirements

If you or any member of your party has a medical condition, disability or dietary requirements which may affect your stay, please advise us so that we can make provision for your particular needs or advise you if we are unable to make such a provision. If details are not provided to us at the time of booking, the Hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation should we be unable to make appropriate provision for a specific need.

Pets

We reserve the right to accept pets at the Hotel at our discretion. There will be a charge of £20 per night per pet. They are only allowed in the bedroom and not permitted into public areas unless otherwise agreed with the General Manager (with the exception of guide dogs). The Hotel reserves the right to set-off the amount for any deep cleaning incurred due to the pet’s stay against the guest’s credit/debit card without prior notice or approval of the guest. Guests need to contact the property directly to ensure that they have reserved a pet friendly room.

Children

All children aged 15 years or under must be accompanied by a responsible adult to ensure that their behaviour is appropriate for other guests within the Hotel. At the discretion of the Hotel, children may be excluded from certain events where deemed unsuitable or inappropriate.

Behaviour and damage

The Hotel reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of guests, who must take all steps for corrective action as requested by the Hotel. In the event of failure to comply with management requests, the Hotel may terminate the booking or stop any event immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation.

The guest is responsible for any damage/loss or removal of equipment caused by themselves or any member of their party and shall pay the Hotel for the necessary amount to repair such damage/loss/removal.

The Hotel reserves the right to set-off the amount payable for such charges against the guest’s credit/debit card without prior notice or approval of the guest, where applicable.

Car Parking

The Hotel has its own car parks, which are free for residents to use. However, any vehicles are left at the owner’s risk.

Comments and complaints

Any comment or complaint regarding your stay should be made to the Hotel duty manager at the time of the visit so that all reasonable efforts can be made to rectify the situation immediately.

External purchases

No wines, spirits, beer or food may be brought onto the Hotel premises by any guest or a member of their party for consumption without express written consent of the Hotel and for which a charge may be made by the Hotel.

Third party suppliers

Elements of your break may include the services supplied by third parties (e.g. golf). Such third parties will usually have their own set of terms and conditions relating to the services they provide. You should consult any third party terms and conditions soon after making your
reservation if your break includes such items.

Group reservations

A group is deemed to be 5 rooms or more and is subject to different terms and conditions to these listed here. Please contact the Hotel to receive our Group reservations terms and conditions.

Competitions

Please read these competition rules carefully.
If you enter one of our competitions, we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them.

To enter a competition you must be: (a) UK resident; and (b) 18 years old or over at the time of entry.

Competitions are not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of JW Lees & Co (Brewers Ltd.)

Only one entry per person.

If you want to enter a competition you may enter via the website on the applicable competition page, or you can also send your entries and submissions detailing which competition you wish to enter, together with your name, address and e-mail address by e-mail to: webcompetitions@jwlees.co.uk

Sending an e-mail is not proof that we have received your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.

The winner of a lucky draw competition will be the entrant picked at random by a third party. The winner of a ‘talent’ competition will be the entrant agreed by a panel of judges.

The closing date is as specified in each competition, and JW Lees reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.

If you win a competition, we will notify you by e-mail, post or private message via social media. The decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

By entering the competition the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as JW Lees may require to communicate that the prize has been fulfilled. A minimum of your name and town will be required to be communicated on social media, in Brew magazine and to be listed on www.jwlees.co.uk

The panel of judges for a talent competition will be comprised of members of the marketing team and a relevant independent judge.

The prize will not be transferable to another person.

No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.

If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

If the winner of a prize fails to contact JW Lees to further proceedings (i.e. share postage details for delivery), a new winner will be selected.
